hello guys!
Izzat, syah and i went for a walk around the pathetic eco park to do some portraits of aishyah. I had the chance to test out my new lens: Sigma 24mm 1.8. Im loving the bokeh it gives at a wide angle and the close focusing its capable of. very nice lens to use. I also got to utilize my sigma 50mm 1.4. Im loving the sharpness and bokeh of these fantastic lenses! i Had a mini celebration with Aishyah for my birthday. We went to eat at Badoque cafe located at Simpang bedok For our early dinner. The ribs was huge and so was the Mac and cheese. Ribs was delicious! the meat was very soft and its worth the 28 dollars you pay. the Mac and cheese was very bad. I wouldnt order that. Serving size is huge which is good but taste wise, it was very bland and salty. macaroni was too soft and the cheese was really very bland. the noodle-wrapped prawn was very good. serving size was huge. Overall, the food serving size is very generous but i had a bad experience with the taste of the food. We went to bugis afterwards to get myself a birthday present. ( = i bought a very sexy shoe that really caught my attention. a relfective snakeskin adidas zx flux. Too beautiful to not buy. haha We went to the singapore sports hub after buying my shoes to take some photos. Would like to thank Aishyah for spending the night with me. So much love for you.
Selamat Hari Raya to all my muslim friends. I Finally get to use my camera as i've been busy for the past weeks and the upcoming 8-9 weeks. Even though i brought my cam to house visiting i didnt really use it cause im too lazy take photos during raya. Its more of a time to catch up with my relatives. Nonetheless, here are some of what ive snapped!
hello there!
We celebrated izzat's advanced 19th b day on Wednesday. its been long since i last saw all of them together. here are some photos today syah, piko, latep and i went to johor bahru! it was our first time(except for latep) to go to johor with our friends. its was fun but disappointing at the same time. most of the cafes around jalan tan hiok nee were closed and we dk why. most prolly cause its only 4 pm? we still had fun in the end walking around city square mall and exploring jalan tan hiok nee.
We had a break at the mariners cafe & bistro. We though we could have some desserts but all they had were red velvet cake. we didnt buy it cause we were looking for something more interesting and original. So in the end we just ordered a small bowl of onion rings( was expecting it to be larger in quantity) and our own drinks. I got myself a mariner strawberry bandung if i remember correctly. It was alright but it doesn't have that wow factor. the onion rings was okay too. nothing special. the ambiance was very kampung like. it was very cozy and has a touch of vintage to it. i really like the interior! i didnt really capture much photos as i was a little tired. We hope to try more food at johor! It's the end of the first week of internship! 11/15 more weeks to go!
Today i reluctantly went to pearl centre, chinatown with some of the usual guys to shoot. I Was quite happy with the outcome actually. After that we went to bugis to have our lunch/ early dinner and have some desserts at eazy eazy cafe where izzat works at to have some delicious waffles! i wish to shoot more often but ill be busy for the next 3-4 months.) ; Today i used the canon 6d with a 40mm 2.8 pancake lens( most of the time). enjoy! this is my first time using portra 400 on a rolleicord. it was my first time using a TLR too! was kinda disappointed that most of the shots were slightly out of focus but it was a good try.
everything was self-scanned with the epson v600. |
